We are just moments away from many of the attractions and ‘must see’ places in Nairobi.  We have compiled a short list of points of interest that are within easy reach; please click on the images for more information.

 The Nairobi National Park

Managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service, the Nairobi National Park is the world’s only game park situated  within the limits of a capital city; a major attraction for both local and foreign tourists it boasts an annual wildebeest and zebra migration, and  diverse wildlife species.

Nairobi National Museum

Situated at Museum Hill, just off Uhuru Highway between the city centre and the Westlands area; it is the flagship museum under the management of the National Museums of Kenya. A five minute drive from the city centre is all it will take to witness a breath taking array of East African art, history and culture.

The Museum which first opened its doors in 1910 was initiated by the then East Africa and Uganda Natural History Society [currently the East African Natural History Society (EANHS)]. The group consisted mainly of colonial settlers and naturalists who needed a place to keep and preserve their collections of various specimens. Its first location was the site where Nyayo House presently stands. Rapid expansion led to the move to a larger building erected in 1922 at the site where the Nairobi Serena Hotel now stands.
